A tennis party atmosphere in 1928. The Champion: Ms. Maud Watson. Courts were originally shaped like hourglasses, similar to the dictated feminine fashion shape... the lovely Ms. Watson is shown wearing a comfortable striped skirt allowing for an easy upswing.
