The oceans are Lapis Lazuli and the meridian lines crafted in gold ribbons. Precious stones used in these globes include Abalone, Amethyst, Red Jasper, Green Agate, Lapis, Rhodonite, Yellow and White Mother of Pearl, Unakite, Jade, and many others.
